Grange tackle environmental issues head on we have the following projects running at present.
Carbon footprint reducing projects – include a current lighting project being undertaken by The environmental network who Grange are working closely with within our two Warrington sites. This project will reduce our carbon foot print by a staggering 100 ton CO2 per year, bringing with it reduced energy consumption costs in what is becoming an ever growing cost to businesses with the current rise in energy prices. Other areas monitored include
Traffic -Account managers constantly monitor plan progression and book vehicles in line with this ensure at all times to maintain trailer fill reducing vehicle numbers in and out if sites. Reducing vehicle use within businesses can drastically reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
Recycling – Grange segregates all recyclable waste and ensuring these are collected by the appropriate agents fulfil a need to ensure we produce with the minimum of effect on the environment; This is a real passion for Grange which is upheld by all levels of the busines. We also fully monitor yield throughout the business daily always looking to improve line efficiencies and keep waste to a minimum. Waste reductions within businesses save natural resources and decreases the environmental impact we have.
